Hicks Carpet One Floor & Home

Lenee Hicks (some may remember her as Lenee Jeffers) began working with Hicks Carpet One in November, 1997 in Sales/Design. At that time she worked with retail customers as well as builders (and the builders’ customers, of course) to create beautiful interior spaces that functioned as beautifully as they looked!

Lenee’s family is originally from South Louisiana; however, because her father was military, they moved around a lot while she was growing up. After years of extensive moving/relocating, Lenee would eventually return to South Louisiana where she finished high school, got married and started a family. Lenee has two grown sons, Jason and Joey both of whom she is very proud of! She enjoys cooking (especially Cajun food!), working in her garden and being with her two Shih-tuzs, Zorro and Zeta.

Lenee earned her Honors Bachelor of Interior Design degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, LA in 1994. Having visited South Central Texas while in college, she chose to move to San Antonio shortly after graduating from college.

Eighteen years later … Lenee’s passion is still design! She loves to help her clients realize their vision of what their home should be. “Seeing the clients’ faces when the job is complete and knowing that the finished product is everything and more than they wanted … there’s just no better feeling in the world!” says Lenee. “I truly LOVE what I do!”

I recently had my master bath remodeled by Hicks and found the staff extremely helpful. The designer I worked with was Heather Thacker and what I liked about her was that she asked me all the right questions so she could create the design I was looking for but didn't know how to achieve. When it was time to choose the materials and deisgn she had two completely different styles for me to choose from. She created a bold look and subdued natural look. The work was performed in the time frame I was told and the tile installer was very knowledgeable and courteous. My questions and calls were answered promptly and I was impressed with their attention to detail. I found my experiece working with Hicks a very pleasant one and I absolutely love the way my bathroom turned out.
